Southside Truck Centre Lismore and the Australian Transport Industry have both grown to the very professional level of today’s standards.
In 1966 founder, Fred Robinson, became a Dealer for the legendary Mercedes Benz 1418. As the business grew and with the customer base increasing, Fred was joined by son Steve in 1970 and then UD Nissan Diesel range of trucks was added in 1973.
In 1980 the Freightliner and Ford truck Franchise was obtained with Ford Trucks then being evolved into the Freightliner/Mercedes Benz system.
In 2004 Southside Truck Centre Lismore association with Freightliner, Sterling and Mercedes Benz ended.
This led to the Introduction of the Western Star and MAN Franchises being obtained and growth has continued to this day.
